Last night we watched an extremely deep voiced druggy American travel to somewhere in South America to get high off a tree frog! He was alarmingly thin, and only had one pair of pants... I dread to think how many drugs that man's done. He must have only been mid 20s, but he could barely open his eyes, and simple activities such as getting on a boat, or tying his shoelaces, were almost too much for him. Looks like fun though, travelling around the world trying different natural drugs!
Coheed and Cambria's four part DVD where they play each of their albums in their entirety over four nights is amazing! The sound was amazing, and they were so tight throughout. Some of the riffs the guitarist plays whilst singing are ridiculous.

Off to Scotland on Friday, can't wait. More gigs with our good friends Taking Chase. The gig in Edinburgh on 20th is also with Matt Reynolds. We had the pleasure of playing with him at The Fighting Cocks, and I was captivated, so I'm looking forward to seeing him again.
I am buying a new head on the way as well, make of that what you will!

Tio be fair the lnie up they have is still sick, I was worreid that they might have lost Choi. Have you checked out the new Rancid album? Sorry John I've only just noticed this comment! Taking Chase was high turn out! Never mind. Yea if they lost Choi that would be game over. At first I was disappointed, but once I got over wishing it had horns it started to come into it's own. Still not sure if it's quite up to the standard of the last two, definately a grower though!
ReplyDeleteYea I listened to the Rancid album a couple of times. It's a solid album, but didn't have anything to keep my attention as it's just standard Rancid. Matt Freeman sounds like he's swallowed a toad! They'll always be great though.
I don't know if this will flag up with you that I've commented anyway, seeing as I didn't even notice you had!
